Seva Day : Seva is a Sanskrit word meaning "selfless service" or work performed without any thought of reward or repayment.
Please join us on August 21 to volunteer your time to a great cause and your H&W committee will donate $50 on your behalf to the Seva Food Bank. Help us reach our donation goal of $1,000!
Many of us volunteer or make donations to deserving charities around the holiday season. Food banks in particular graciously receive donations during the "season of giving" that can sustain them for many months after. However, it is important that we remember and support these charities in the busy summer months as well. August can be a difficult month for food banks, with demand high, and regular volunteers on vacation. With this in mind, Seva Food Bank has asked us to help them re-stock their shelves following their annual July food drive.
